Ahem, this guy. There is a cat freeloading in my house. I had no choice in this. He's a good looking cat, you think he'd could at least get one of those modeling jobs for cat food ads or something, but no, he just sits around the house all day sleeping.
Heartless bastard. Bring some field mice in so he can get a job.

im big on home automation and tech in general, bought a "Switchbot Bot" off amazon for Prime Day, im returning it after playing with it for 10 minutes. The device itself is actually a cool idea, basically an automated button pusher, can push in a switch/turn on anything with a physical button, such as a coffee maker/keurig/etc.... but the alexa/google play/siri shortcuts portion of the device only works if you have the bridge.

On the other hand, i have been loading up on $17 door/window sensors from Yolink, for all the windows, doors, and even a freezer in the garage...announces on alexa/my phone when something is open, you can setup shortcuts/playlists/routines with alexa etc... put one in the mailbox so that when the mailbox opens i get an alert that the mail is here...They also have motion and vibration sensors, i have a vibration sensor in my car so i know if someone breaks into my car

Same general principle applies to dogs. If dogs are allowed, then it's ok to bring them. If they're not allowed, it's not ok. Simple.

Yep. And in my experience at least, it's extremely rare to come across pet owners at dog friendly eateries who aren't responsible. People parents...that's more of a mixed bag.

Not only that, but in my experience (and it’s considerable) most people at those places, both customers and staff, love having dogs around. The nice people at Ben and Jerry’s used to give my dog free ice cream. With crunchy bits on top. I’ve had people at restaurants (sitting outside of course) offer to give my dog their leftovers. Dogs make people happy. Except for grouchy people.

We have a couple mom n pop ice cream places nearby that have little cups with a milkbone on top you can order for them. And agreed on the staff and customers. There is a distillery near us where the owner's dog roams freely and never has an issue. Customers keep their's on lead, but everyone enjoys it. Kitten's sister had her wedding celebration there, and guess who were the flower girl and ring bearer?

I ordered a steak (after checking with the owner) for a neighboring Saint Bernard at a restaurant a while back.

The dog, not @BernieParent
