Yeah, I work at a Costco and the number of animals I see is out of hand. Some are obviously service dogs, but most are quite obviously not. I've lost count of the number of people I've seen leaning over a display of food while holding their f***ing dog.

Hell, one guy brought a RABBIT into the store. An honest to god white bunny rabbit, just chilling in the kiddy seat on his coat. It has to be one of the more bizarre things I've seen at work.

same at my job at the super market...people just wander in..no questions asked..we can't say anything...thankfully most dogs are pretty well behaved

My dog is doing really well with his Service Dog training. I didn't even really need to teach him how to act in stores, he just walks next to me and lays down when I stop. It is rather impressive, especially for 6 months old. I don't really go out to eat in restaurants, so I've had few opportunities to even test that out. At work he just lays under the chair I sit in, so I'd imagine that would be similar to a restaurant. Right now we're at going to food stores, my main work spot, and then other stores we can walk to like CVS, the liquor store, Ace Hardware, and some of the local food spots that are just walk in/take out.

I've only had one person ask me why he is my service dog and she was totally being judgy, so I really enjoyed being able to say, "I have a brain tumor." The look on her face was priceless. Totally worth the whole situation.

Finished, "Silo" on AppleTV. I was hooked after the first two episodes, got a bit slow in the middle but ended up being really good at the end, can't wait for second season to come out.

Neither of my dogs could be a service dog. Unless the service the provide is licking faces
