Don’t you hate when you want to buy a new item but the one you currently have just won’t f***ing break to give you an excuse to do so?

I’ve had this PC keyboard for like 10+ years now and the damn thing will not die. I got it with my first desktop PC and the thing works perfect but it’s not mechanical and doesn’t look like anything special.

I’m too careful with my things. I need to be more destructive.

Just tell yourself anything you do in that area is downright sane because morons like me exist.

I’m usually incredibly cheap when it comes to anything for me. Not keyboards. It’s a tool you spend a lot of time using. Get the one you want.

That's exactly what I've spent the last week telling myself.

I think I've almost convinced me, but I'm being more stubborn than I expected.

You’re not just buying a new one. You’re also acquiring a backup for when you inevitably spill something on your main one.:)

I've had the same 42" Flat-Screen HDTV as my main living room TV since 2008. I actually got it for free too. Won it in a contest when I worked at Best Buy way back then. It's 15 years old and the f***er won't die so I can justify getting a new one. Pisses me right off.

There really is nothing worse than products that don't break.

F***in' drives me up the wall.

A sudden marine heat wave off the coast of Florida has surprised scientists and sent water temperatures soaring to unprecedented highs, threatening one of the most severe coral bleaching events the state has ever seen.

Sea surface temperatures around Florida have reached the highest levels on record since satellites began collecting ocean data. And the warming is happening much earlier than normal – yet another example of ocean heat being amplified by the human-caused climate crisis and the extreme weather it brings.

This is the highest temperature for the water since it has been recorded daily since 1985. The ocean temperatures are said to peak in August so it may even get worse.

Just more signs of the impending doom for coral reefs in oceans over the next half century. Coral reefs being wiped severely would impact marine life ecosystems near the coasts as well as likely lead to more flooding because of the protection they provide.

No shock that Farmers Insurance today announced they are ending all insurance in Florida. No more home, cars, boats, whatever. Insurance premiums in Florida are skyrocketing and more and more insurance companies continue to pull out.
let me guess windfarms

If yours is relatively quiet, send it to me. I'll swap it out with my coworker's so I can maintain a bit of sanity, and you can get the one you want because you no longer have one.

That thing is probably so contaminated, hazmat won't even touch it.

I got that dilemma with my tv in my bedroom. It’s from I think like 2011. I want a new one but I keep dragging my feet because it still works fine. I think I’ll shift it to the guest room soon. That’s probably the best outcome of getting a new one & not feeling like it’s completely wasted.

Main tvs become other room upgrades when you want a new one.
