What is your top 10?
This is mine. I was tempted to add Oliver Moore and Colby Barlow, but that hasn't happened yet, so:

  • Simon Edvinsson
  • Marco Kasper
  • Sebastian Cossa
  • Albert Johansson
  • William Wallinder
  • Elmer Soderblom
  • Carter Mazur
  • Amadeus Lombardi
  • Dylan James
  • Red Savage

That’s a pretty good list. I might switch Wallinder and Johansson. I would substitute Buchelnikov and Hannas for James and Savage but that’s about it

I really hope this kid makes the team next year. He's got a real shot imo. He's fast, good, etc. I just hope he doesn't mind the physicality at the next level(s).

He has as near zero of a shot as possible. You would need to assume that Lombardi has a chance to make the team over Kasper, Soderblom, Mazur and a returning Rasmussen.

I believe he is a candidate for Grand Rapids, which is a good spot for him to land. He needs physical seasoning and living in the weight room, with an easier introduction to professional hockey.

What a season, and what growth from one season to the next.

In the AHL I really hope he’s not being blocked for ice time and development so the Griffs can ride guys like Austin Czarnik types to get to the playoffs.

Kid didnt play competitive hockey for 500 days from Midget to OHL. In reality for development, he is still a 2nd yr OHL player.

Kid will give Kasper Soderblom and whoever a run for their money in Detroit, never mind GR.

Jumping the gun a little bit. He tore up a junior league at 19 years old. Big difference being able to play in pro leagues vs men.

Will be exciting to see him in GR
