@Beef Invictus - do you have the ScreenPix channels? Lots of obscure but entertaining genre films of dubious quality. Just wrapped up Angel Unchained. An exiled biker falls for a hippie (a young Tyne Daly) and joins her commune. Happiness is interrupted by townies, who detest the hippies and come to break up the commune with their...dune buggies. The hippies enlist the aid of the biker's old gang, and the film culminates in an epic dune buggy vs. motorcycle battle, which results in one unintentional death of the idealistic commune leader. Then the dune buggies and bikes ride off into the sunset as a slightly plaintive folky number plays into the credits.

I don't know if I've got that channel but somehow I've seen that film

Dune buggies vs. motorcycles was the gang battle I never knew that I needed. They have lots good stuff. A few weeks back I caught the Sydney Pollack-directed The Yakuza starring Robert Mitchum. Enjoyed that one quite a bit.

Yet I haven't seen that.

I've recently determined that the Monsterverse films are the pinnacle of human creative expression.

I got the Masters tournament final Final Jeopardy right when none of the 3 did. You’ll just have to believe me.

Was it a Flyers question?

Sounds like a Mystery Science Theater 3000 flick.

Of f***ing course my irl best bud gets shit faced the night before the wedding because he had to go to a bar with his law school buddies. Calls me and is like should I take an Uber? Guy take the f***ing Uber and figure out your car in the morning. This is what I get for being a non drinker and skipping the stupid event. f*** now there's another thing that will cause me to not sleep.

All right now I'm pissed off the more I think about it and the more I'm trying to figure out what the f*** is happening now.

How the f*** do people who my bud invites out for drinks the night before his wedding, don't offer to drive him from to the brewery? LIKE DO YOU NOT HAVE ANY COMMON SENSE. HE f***IN DROVE HIMSELF AND NOW I GOT ANOTHER STRESSOR TO FIGURE OUT.

Edit: crisis averted. He got back to his place in one piece. My lord drunk people sometimes.

Keep us posted. Embellish if you have to. When necessary, out-and-out lie (i.e. a rhinoceros crashed the wedding, the bride got naked, father of the bride dropped multiple F and C bombs during his speech, etc.)

So….I gave Succession a try the other day. Watched most of the 1st season. I hate all of these people so much. I really tried to like it, but f***, I hope all of these characters just suffer endlessly and needlessly. I’m genuinely confused as to why it gets all of the accolades it does. Generally, it’s hard for me to enjoy a show when no characters have any redeeming qualities whatsoever. Give me something. When everyone is awful though, f***, it’s hard not to hate all of em and just despise the show completely.

I think it's back up.

Busy week in NJ Gov. Office. They also named Cranberry the official state juice. Back story is that a an elementary school teacher in So Jersery wanted to to teach her kids about how government works. So they came up with the idea, and followed the process from concept to law.
