Nick Kyperos is right here. Nurse, the 20 year old rookie is the one that has to step up for his teammates and talk to Phaneuf. Nobody else on the team stuck up for Pouliot when he got hit or any other time Phaneuf took a run at Edmonton. LA, Chicago, NYR, MTL all stick up for their teammates, they don't have big goons but they have each other's back.

What did Phaneuf do?

Yah that was a high stick.

Call likely won't go Edmonton's way though.

Cool story.

He certainly isn't the amazing Taylor Hall that disappeared last year while Eberle stepped up..
Odd to bring up last year when Hall was playing injured for the majority of it and is currently a top scorer in the league. Eberle floats around all game. Zero effort defensively. Putrid player.

Lmfao, bitter?

Hall has the injury excuse but you don't give Eberle the same credit?

He is coming off of shoulder surgery which many players struggle coming back from.

If Hall was such a leader he would stop making silly cross ice passes and take this game seriously.

The Oilers should be embarrassed. Not mad, but they should feel awful.

They totally mailed it in.
