Yes, lets move him at his peak. While we are at it lets also move Panarin, Mika, Kakko, Strome, Fox, Buch, Chytil also. Lets just move anybody who can actually play so we can gain those extra draft picks and rebuild for the next 5 years.
Hopefully in 5 years those prospects will be as good as those players were, so we can trade them once they’re 23 for future picks

they can sign him for as long as they want and if need be can trade him. He’s an absolute stud. Get him under contract

He really isn't

I still don't get the love fest

i really do like his collapsing finish on the power play, but I would never label him as a stud defensemen i'm not sure he's even single year all-star consideration yet

What if we just always play the 4th line for 3 minutes and give Panarin 24+ mins.

Lines need to be much more balanced in today's NHL.
If your 4th can only handle 3 mins a game, you f***ed up big time..

The Rangers need to go back to penalty killing school. In the last two games both Tampa and Florida ate us up on the power play. Those two power play goals today came too easy.

Part of our issue it seems to me is the extended injury to Zibanejad who not only is our best player but also our best penalty killing forward.

At this point too I think Andersson should get a ticket to Hartford. He's not playing enough and he's not playing that well.

The Chytil 2nd line were pretty much a no show. Howden is a frustrating player at time too. He had a lot of good opportunities in this one but that said I think he f***ed up on the Hoffman goal. Turned the wrong way away from where the play was going to. The 4th line literally is non-existent. With Zibanejad and Kakko out our forward depth gets really weak. That said--we weren't terrible--just not good enough. It was a competitive game.

I can’t believe this is what the topic of choice is right now. Trading one of our righty D. Really amazing.
Seriously, what the hell?

RD is the only area of strength from top to bottom on the team right now.

LD is a large issue, Lindgren is probably the best LD on the team right now and while it’s encouraging to see his improvements that’s not a good place for us to be. We really need Miller and Robertson to live up to expectations.

Really wish Rykov was healthy to get a shot. Hajek is REALLY struggling. Skjei too.

He's had a rough few games. But he's most definitely a shut down D.

This does not look like a shutdown D to me.

And this year he's been particularly brutal. Yes he's got Hajek who has been bad as his partner and is probably playing the most difficult minutes but this is very far from what you would expect from a shutdown defensemen.

He's on a rebuilding team. And I don't give two ****s about advance stats. I'm using what I know best. My eyes.
