We've been alright defensively, but the whole game is really messy. Probably cause nobody wants to play hockey at noon on a Saturday.

How the hell is Strome the only one that gets a penalty, Ekholm throws 3 straight stick jabs to Fast's spine at the end of the period and nothing. Ridiculous. Refs have called penalties of Nashville when the penalties are obvious, but there has been some home cooking in some of these ticky tack calls.

Oh agreed. The kid is not even 20. If he needs to take a step back and go home because it was a bit much for him, okay. Not the end of the world. He’s still playing a high level of hockey and I’m sure the team had talked to him about what they think needs to improve. I think he made a mistake going home but it’s so far from the end of the world.
I was overseas, in Turkey of all places, playing puck on a whim. It was a difficult transition but honestly the team and women’s team members were pretty good about helping out and it made it an easy transition. I would not have been able to do it without a childhood friend I played with there. The country and operations was a shitshow and they did pretty alright by us on the transition albeit not perfect. Point being I’m sure if he spoke up the team would have made accommodations to make him more comfortable.
Hopefully it’s truly just another year he needs to truly mature and wrap his head around leaving home.

With the Rangers? No he wasn't. Jagr was an amazing player and obviously a better offensive guy due to his natural skill, but the sheer level of creativity from Panarin is on another level.
Jagr was certainly more skilled overall as he's one of the greatest players of all time.
