Georgiev has been great but has been extremely careless about his rebounds.

Number one priority is to stop the initial shot. Second is to try and control or redirect the rebound (something that can’t always be done depending on type of shot/velocity, etc)

He’s not making a conscious choice to be ‘careless’ about the rebounds.

That won’t show up in a box score or advanced stat but Skjei just might’ve changed the complexion of this game trying to be Bobby Orr when he was the 2nd to last man back, no forward help. Rangers had 2 goal lead and lots of the momentum

Most shots are shots that he should be stopping. He just let up a goal, which was expected, given that most goalies let in 1 of 5 high danger shots.

He has been good, far from great.
