The idea was good, the optics of his crosscheck were ugly and got him a penalty mostly because Ekholm obviously sold it. Strome probably should have been able to predict that though. Should have taken his number and looked for a better opportunity in the next period to get back at him.

Strome just called it a stupid penalty in his interview lol. Why is this a debate?

Togetherness and teaminess is what will putt his team together so the penalty is the fine, could learn subtlety though.

It is what is it. Rather he do that than let Fast get hit continuously. Strome was a little overaggressive, it happens.

"It is what it is."

One of the worst sentences in the English language. It takes no responsibility and offers no solution. A complete fold up and shutdown mentality.

Buck up, this is Rangers hockey.

There’s a lot of passive people here it feels like. No issue with it. Just an observation.

With the Rangers? No he wasn't. Jagr was an amazing player and obviously a better offensive guy due to his natural skill, but the sheer level of creativity from Panarin is on another level.

Jagr was certainly more skilled overall as he's one of the greatest players of all time.

Yea. Jagr was just flat out dominant. Honestly, it was his third or fourth season here that impressed me the most. I can't remember which season it was, but about mid-way through the season he was asked why he wasn't scoring at the dominant pace of previous years and he said that he was getting older and needed to conserve himself for the playoffs. He looked far less dominant in the regular season that year.

Then the playoffs rolled around and he played well above a PPG. He was back to his dominant self. It was unreal to see a player conserve themselves purposefully for an entire NHL season and then just flip a switch. Just an insane specimen.

Yeah, the way a fan reacts to a play on the ice, in context of the game itself, really tells you a lot about someone being a “passive person”...

Who’s to say it doesn’t? You’re telling me there’s an exact science to this? Opinions vary bud.

At least make commercials more believable. Who would act like that if they got cheated on? What a stupid betting commercial
