I know we have a lot of pessimistic fans now but its still very early. Last night we didnt get teh rsult we wanted but teh effort was there. I dont like to blame the refs but my god they seemed very oen sided last night. yes i understand we need to generate more offense but it seemed like every time we got momentum the refs took it away. Anyway i feel the rangers will bounce back tonight. the isles dont have good defense or goaltending

My prediction. Power outage in the 2nd period because the Islanders dd not pay electrical bill under the belief that," hey we are moving anyway." Game is suspended with the rangers down 3-0.

No in all seriousness I really don't know what to expect. I would be shocked if the Rangers score more than 3 goals tonight. I will be hoping to see if the Rangers are responsive to the rivalry aspect and if they actually stick up for one another if the game gets testy.
 
So Brad back at center, might be good since either Stepan or Brassard getting it done but he has looked pretty good on the wing.
 
Kreider-Stepan-Zuccarello could be magical.

Fingers crossed that Hagelin has his gameface on, and remembers how to use it.

He said post game yesterday he felt good and wanted to play. He is very honest with stuff so I take him for his word. The coach is supposed to dress the best line up to win and he didn't if Hank can go, I miss Torts.

Interesting lineup, lets see what Kreider and Zucc can create together, and maybe send a wakeup call to Step.

Torts didn't always start Hank even if he wanted to. Torts specifically said in 24/7 that Hank wants to start almost all the games, but he needs to rest once in a while. I'm fine with Hank sitting tonight.
