Why start this discussion when neither goalie has been confirmed?
I kind of belief he would have said it was Shesterkin if it was.

Thank god it’s not Passover. Really need Bread for this one.
Not that he believed that ultimately Georgiev is better. If he can't go more than 2 straight games with Shesterkin after 3 days off without starting what else does it tell you?
The idea that he has magical powers against the Islanders seems like nonsense to me.
Dominc Roussel and the Rangers comes to mind very quickly.Come on. That is ridiculous. His numbers are what they are and the numbers state that he plays well against the Islanders. Every goaltender has those teams that they just own for whatever reason.
Bingo. It happens. And to say that Quinn would be an idiot for factoring it into his decision for the starter tonight is very strange to put it politely.Dominc Roussel and the Rangers comes to mind very quickly.

And? Howden night after night is the least effective, least productive forward on this team. He is however, a favorite of the coach so no point whining. But, he will not produce and anytime he spends with Laf is going to be time without offense.
Yes they will. Fair or not, he has brought that upon himself. His decision making thus far has seemed erratic at best, so he is in a lose lose situation right now.
If he makes the correct coaching decisions, it will be seen as luck.
If me makes the wrong decisions, it will be seen as more of the same.
This won't change until he builds a track record of success which I'm not sure he is capable of.
Basically he hasn't done anything to earn the benefit of the doubt yet, so he will get unfairly judged. This isn't unique to NY
Not because he believes that Georgiev has as much a chance to be the future goalie of this team as Shesterkin. Then why is he splitting starts?
Complaining about Howden's play this year seems a bit short sighted. In his role, he has been fine. More than fine. And? I can't tell if you're messing with me or not. Howden has 2 Goals and 4 Assists in his last 25 NHL Games. He's also statistically the worst Ranger on the team this year offensively. You can even count the D-men. I'm pretty sure that's 13th forward type stats. Every once in a while a 4th liner will do something of that caliber. Its just like, once a month. He also gets good ice time and plays with gifted players and still can't manage anything offensively. If he were on a break away, he'd throw it in the corner and change.
He plays every night, has for a couple of years. What does he do well? I just don't see it. And i haven't seen anyone articulate on this board what it is that gets him into the lineup every night. To say that he has no creativity is a little exaggerated. If you think he' the least effective, least productive, I'm not going to respond to an opinion. Agree to disagree.
After watching Oilers/Flames the other night, just deal Georgie to Edmonton for a ransom.
I would've been better than Kosy, and I haven't skated in 15 years.
we were told their goaltending was fine lol.
Will be nice to see them miss the playoffs again while literally having two of the best players in the league on their team.
They would first need to be sure that there is a competent replacement for him in-house.After watching Oilers/Flames the other night, just deal Georgie to Edmonton for a ransom.
