The power of the Internet remains undefeated.

They took advantage of the US’ celebrity obsessed culture. Good for her but yeah they ain’t making that deal for a regular person.
kinda makes me wonder if most fans follow sports for the enjoyment of the sports themselves or the side show of players wanting fame and popularity on social media.

You only say that because you haven't listened to this.

Also, you are dead wrong when you said C&C Music Factory was "the most 90s thing"

Here, rejoice:

How far we have come with celebrating positive body image with Lizzo who btw I despise bc of her earwig songs . They had to get a skinny person to say pump up the jam and everybody dance now bc the real vocalist was fat...

I don't think he knows the Beatles are a 60s band either. Kid is waging war when he doesn't even know his enemy.
The Beatles transcend time, space, and life itself.

For real though, I legitimately did have a buddy/Beatle hater at work imply they were a 70s band. Like, I really don't wanna waste energy arguing over something as small as an almost 60-year old band, if you don't like them, I really don't care. But how can I even retort when you can't get one of the most basic facts about them right?

Fun prompt: what music from the 2000s, if any, will love to the year 2075?

I say Kendrick Lamar and that's about it. Maybe Beyonce, and the jury is still out on Billie Eilish. I'm just not sure pop music lives on the way it did in the 60s and 70s

The vast majority of pop music from the 60s and 70s was putrid, time just filtered it out

Some f***nut called in a active shooter prank today at several central and southern NH schools. What the f*** is wrong with people? Did someone think this was funny? Whoever did this needs to be beaten with a brick.
I hate where we are as a country.
Must have been exam time.

In the pre-social media days, students resorted to stink bombs and triggering fire alarms.

But they were a 60s band, who, contrary to 70s hockey players, are still good today
These goofy mfs didn't even read what I said

smh my damn head

I said they're "the 1970s of music", not that they're "the music of the 1970's". Like if I said they're "the Brazilians of music", except that's far too drastic of an insult.

I do agree with @DancingPanther 's premise though, and I've often pondered his question myself. Maybe it's just because I don't listen to much of it, but there just aren't many artists/songs these days I look at/listen to and think, "this has staying power"
