I have a peloton and have around 900 rides completed this year. Looking at options for a rower next. That's a fantastic full body workout...the Peloton rower is like 3k though...maybe the Hydrow Wave...A body of mine lost 50lbs in 6 months doing the row.
We have the peloton bike as well. I only ride it like once or twice a week as I usually go to the gym the other days. I always say I should ride it more, but I never do. My legs always need a day or two to recover from those rides. Wife really wants the rower as well, but it's hard to justify buying it at that price

You have 900 rides this year. Jaysus. I'm guessing that must include like 5 minute cool down rides and such? If not thats absolutely bonkers haha. I think I manged like 40ish on my sisters bike, but that was pretty low for me because we had a kid. I don't think I've ever even cracked 100 in a year. How does your body ever recover? Haha

"hip·pie

/ˈhipē/

noun

(especially in the 1960s) a person of unconventional appearance, typically having long hair, associated with a subculture involving a rejection of conventional values, or pretty much everybody in Portland."

I mean you can't argue with the dictionary my dude.

Yep, I do a 5 Minute Warm-up and 5 minute cool down at the beggining/end of each session and then usually a 30/45 and another 10/15 minute ride sandwiched between. My session usually go like this:

10 minute warm up stretch (Usually Ben Alldis)
10 minute strength (daniel mckenna) or 10 minute yoga (Dennis Morton) or lately a 15 minute kettlebell workout from youtube
5 minute warm up ride
30 minute ride
10-15 minute Scenic ride
5 minute cool down
5 minute post ride stretch

It's frickin huge also. You almost need a dedicated room for it. Even my Garage which we converted into a makeshift gym, wouldn't be able to fit that rower.

That's a shit ton of rides. That's awesome. Do you have any specific person you tend to do the most?

Oh damn. Didn't even realize it was that big. That's good to know just in case she decides to veto my decision to not buy it

I was on a kick with Bradley Rose for a while since he does a lot of Pop Punk Rides, Dennis Morton does really good Classic Rock/90s rock rides, or Kendall Toole for obvious reasons. For the warm ups and cool downs i use Matt Wilpers because my PT recommended him as he explains the mechanics of how to properly use your knees/quads.

There's certain people I will never do there rides...Cody, Christine D'erico are to cringe.

I think the rower does fold up but you gotta mount it to studs, it's like 7 feet when setup. The screen itself is like 27-30 inches also

I usually do AT rides just because I like that kind of music when working out. I've been branching out and doing some rides with Ben and Emma. They usually have some good pop/punk rides. I think my all-time favorite ride was the Foo Fighters ride with Emma. The music and the ride were great. I'll go back every now and then and do it just because

I do a bunch of AT to. Especially his "Ride to Greatness" classes. Team Validate. My wife does all the Emma stuff, just did her 2nd "Crush Your Core" Program which is like a month worth of core classes. Screw that!

Roger, don't get me wrong that still an awesome amount of work and dedication, but that makes a ton more sense then what my brain first thought of haha.

Rowers are amazing. You can find concept 2 rowers on Facebook market place and craigslist for fairly cheep...particularly if you're willing to travel.

Concept2 makes good rowing machines. I used to have one but it hurt my back so I replaced it with a treadmill.

I once again would like to state my infinite hatred for homeowner's associations. They are nothing but a Ponzi scheme that only grief you.
I don't care how nice the community is, I would never subject myself to other people telling me things like you can't have a pickup, or what kind of Christmas lights I can put up, or whatever other nonsense they come up with.

Ive never been more proud of you as my son.

Mostly because ive never been proud of you before. But, the point stands.
Eventually you’ll come around to my genius.

It starts with this, then you catch yourself thinking “Well shit… those birds do look kinda suspicious…”, and then you see some Ghost highlights and you’re fully on board.
