The defense as a whole just looks so much more mobile and able to move the puck without Staal. It’s night and day. Every pairing can move the puck quickly to create space for the forwards.

We're definitely playing much better than we have been, but Tampa are also living up to their mediocre record.

Lindgren has looked good in his 9+ minutes so far; he knows his role. Play solid, don't compromise on the boards and around the net, and get the puck to Fox as quickly and as safely as possible. Without exaggeration, these are my favourite defensive pairs that we've had in at least 5 years.
