I've often wondered why that play isn't tried more in the NHL.
I mean... that’s a really big win.We won the Spooner trade in the same way we would win if we had herpes instead of syphilis.
I just meant you wouldn’t be happy that you missed it

I like sharp on NBC's panel. Good looking, charming, good personality, good knowledge, former player, no ego.
He’s such a clever player.
The kid from Michigan did it a few years back in a game, and that was the first time I saw it.I've often wondered why that play isn't tried more in the NHL.
At least this one has been fun enough that even if they lose it’ll still be worth watchingHate that I missed it but work calls.
Been on the go since 3:30am and forcing myself to stay awake for this last period![]()

Yes that’s why it’s called the Michigan move. I think he may have done it in the national championship too. Late 90s I believe. The kid from Michigan did it a few years back in a game, and that was the first time I saw it.

I would pay money to see that.Only thing that would really irk me, and I probably shouldn't say it (Jinx) is if Shattenkirk scores a game winner...
Yupp. In my d-men, I want hockey IQ and at least one of mobility or puck-moving ability. Staal had neither. The defense as a whole just looks so much more mobile and able to move the puck without Staal. It’s night and day. Every pairing can move the puck quickly to create space for the forwards.
Confusing Staal for Girardi again. They just talked about Staal being a healthy scratch and idiot Pierre talks about how he's blocked a lot of shots in his career and is probably sore.
