Saw Inside Out 2 tonight. Good movie, but the famous (in our world) Randy Hahn cameo is way too short and in the mid-credit scene. (There's a mid credit AND post credit scene, just fyi).

Had Five Guys for the first time in years today. Still good stuff, but $10.50 for a fast-food hamburger is pretty pricey.
Also might've been the last time I step into Tanforan depending on when that place officially closes. Man that mall is barren.

I lied. Went back to Tanforan yesterday cuz I was craving five guys fries. Still a ghost mall but even Five Guys there closed down.

Trip wasn’t completely for naught though. Their Happy Lemon is still fire.

I have a Happy Lemon and Boba Guys walking distance from my office but I definitely prefer the former. I exclusively just get their green tea with cheese foam.

I would concur. I'm told that the Strawberry Matcha Latte is the only worthwhile drink at the latter. It wasn't too bad, but I don't feel like I miss it.

On that note, if anyone is ever in Vegas for one reason or another and wants some bubble tea, check out Brew Tea Bar. They're great with the milk teas and lattes, although maybe not so much with all of their fruit lineup.

I have one of their soundbars, it's ok. My TV sound output seems to be not super. But the soundbar sounds ok. Better than my TV speakers. Took me a bit to figure out how to get it recognized by their app, but once I did it functioned as expect. Nothing special.

I live in SF, it's summer and I'm sick of seeing the sun shine and miss the fog. Viva El Niño!!!!

I’ve spent summers in the Deep South and I’ve never felt anything like this past Saturday up in Redding. It was 120 degrees! (Heat index was even higher).

I can handle 7-8 months of cool/cold, but can hardly handle 2-3 months of these summers anymore.

Dang!! I grew up in NW Florida (lower Alabama) w/o air conditioning... I'm a few decades removed to the Pacific NW and have been absolutely spoiled by the mild winters and summers in SF.

120 degrees is not fit for man nor beast. Can only hope it doesn't get super humid... that's the worst. Sweating for the sake of sweating because that stuff can't evaporate and cool you down due to relative humidity. Truly hell on earth.

The only good thing the humidity does in super hot conditions is lower the risk of fires. It’s so low right now that just about everywhere has the potential to start burning.
