@slocal you might want to stock up
Another Sriracha shortage could be coming. A severe drought is to blame.
Jennifer Wunderlich can’t recall the last time Huy Fong Foods’ Sriracha sauce was in stock at her workplace, a New York-based specialty confections and gourmet food distributor. It’s been “months and months” since Wunderlich said she’s seen the rooster-adorned, green-capped bottles at Nassau...www.yahoo.com
Steve Albini passed yesterday, 61 years old
Same. Gutted. He was a true iconoclast, and humble throughout. The Electrical Audio channel on YouTube is a fantastic testament to a life's work in service to helping normal people make abnormal music, if you haven't checked it out.Damn, I just saw this. Bloody hell

not sure when this happened, but I spotted this in Costco todayI buy mine from Underwood Ranches. They were the original supplier of peppers before getting shafted by Huy Fong. The new Huy Fong sriracha tastes wrong, but Underwood tastes like the original. Same can be said for the chili garlic sauce.
It's been a bloodbath for hella days and I totally thought the hiring floodgates would open again by now... Literally everyone is applying for everything out of desperation it's nutsI don’t know if any of you guys work in the biotech industry, but it’s rough right now. I work at a mid-sized biotech company in the Bay Area and we just laid off 170 people today after doing ~40 a couple months ago. I’ve survived so far but man, it is not very fun.
It's that way in everything. There's so much competition for any open position and it's so easy for people to apply over the Internet that the odds of you getting any position that you apply for are horribly low. If they're laying off in your industry, everything's that much worse. It's been a bloodbath for hella days and I totally thought the hiring floodgates would open again by now... If I get fired again I'm seriously f***ed cuz there's no way I'm outcompeting everyone else out there right now

Looks like huy fong is cancelled
I saw you were last poster in this thread and assumed someone died. I wasn't wrong. R.I.P. TicketbastardTicketmaster/Live Nation facing suit from US Feds and 30 states over anti trust. Seek to break up company.

I haven’t been in 10+ years (my dad is from Syracuse and made the whole family do a trip out there when I was in high school basically so he could show us how crappy it is and make us appreciate California even more) but I endorse this. I really enjoyed our day in Cooperstown. Definitely more than Syracuse, anyway…For those of you who are baseball fans and have not been, the National Baseball Hall of Fame is absolutely worth the trip to Cooperstown, NY, and will take you an entire day to fully appreciate - maybe two.
I didn't have a lot of time in town, so I didn't check out any of the other museums or attractions, but the NBHOF is fantastic, and the village is wonderfully picturesque and comfortable.
The roads between either Albany or Syracuse and Cooperstown are nice, too. It's about two hours, depending on whether you stop, and that's the easiest way to get there (I'm sure there are bus routes as well).
This sucks. Bill was huge in the music scene i like, and helped "legitimize" being a fan of a band like the Dead. I only saw him once at a show, and it was obviously him. I'm 6'5-ish and i could see his head floating above the rest of the crowd.Bill Walton, Hall of Famer and UCLA legend, dies at age 71
Bill Walton was two-time NBA champion and won several other achievements in his playing career. He was named one of the NBA’s 75 greatest players.sports.yahoo.com
