Kinda irritated Crunchyroll only has the first season of JuJutsu Kaisen. It was really good! Now I just want more. I guess the rest is on HiDive from what I've been able to gather.

I think Toge Inumaki was my favorite good guy. The bad guys are great!!! I find them very amusing. Hanami prolly my fave bad guy.
There's only one season animated so far, unless crunchyroll has less than 24 episodes.

What's even more f***ing irritating is the fact it didn't get below 60F last night. I live a dozen or so blocks from Ocean Beach, Fogville, Karltown... It just doesn't cool off in my apt no matter how many fans I put in the windows.

Also, Tokyo Revengers is sooooooo good. I have a legit soft spot for non-campy time travel stuff.

Just take off your Patagonia sweaters

My low was 89F this morning (and I do have AC).
July in Vegas is the hottest I've ever been... Couldn't comprehend how hotel employees were just taking their smoke breaks outside in full suits giving zero f***s

Duluth, my dude. Patagonia was so last year.

You chose to move to there from here, right?

Don’t really want to start a thread and not sure exactly where to put this so here goes….

If anyone is interested in joining my fantasy hockey league please pm me and I’ll give more details. It’s a 12 team league and 8 of the spots are filled with regulars who are active all season.

Arcteryx yo.
Who am I kidding though, patagucci for life.
I don't have either of those. I'm pretty much cargo shorts and tee-shirts w/ hoodie 4 life. Duluth has big boy sizes which is good because I'm what my mother used to call "husky."

Duluth's cargo shorts are so f***ing expensive, but the fit and pocket situation is top notch. Wrangler makes decent cargo shorts also, but if they don't have the seam pocket over the cargo pocket they're not so great.

I see a LOT of "The North Face" 'round here too.

I've been a little behind on entertainment the last couple of years but this sounds like something I'd like. Thanks for giving me something to add to the watch list!

It's an @Grave reco earlier in the thread. (Thanks Grave!) I've been binge-ing it a bit the last couple day. I dig it. It's kinda different from the usual "everyone has super powers" kinda thing. Or, maybe it's been ~6 hours of build up for some reveal I've not gotten to. It's not all fireball fists and lightning bolt farts so far and that's great, but if it turns that direction I won't be complaining TBH.

I recently got my parents into Demon Slayer and even they are enjoying it. They haven't even gotten to Ep19 yet.
I'll probably introduce them to Haikyu next, which I think they'll enjoy more since it's at least based in reality without super powers or OP skills. Also, thankfully it never gets dumb unlike Prince of Tennis.

Demon Slayer is so great! Ready for more; kool your folks are digging it.

I've not done any of the sports based ones. I guess I'll look for a hockey one.

I dont know how I could get my parents into anime. I think the older generations reputation of them just being "kids chinese cartoons" is too stuck in their minds.

Its sad because just like any art form it really does have masterpieces

I think it helps for my parents that it’s in English. I feel like subbed would be a no go, which is a shame since the Japanese VAs are perfect. All the English VAs are good though except Tanjiro.

Honestly that helped me get in, but Ive outgrown it and watch both now. The one part about sub show that bothers me is you can never look away even during boring conversations. I have a terrible attention span and like to do other stuff while I watch but with subs its just not possible unless im basically just skipping the show.

I initially watched Demon Slayer in English too for similar reasons. Like I watched while I ate and intermittently look down or away. But some parts like Zenitsu's screaming were just incoherent and it bugged me.
Subbed also helped with volume management for late night watching when I lived in an apartment. I later used the Roku App on my phone with airpods, but I just got used to it subbed.

Yu Yu Hakusho is like the one anime you absolutely have to watch in English though. It's not even close.

Haven’t seen it yet but it’s on the list for sure. I love that 90s style of artwork too
