Raises the ticket prices and raises parking prices while missing the playoffs year after year...
That's not a recipe for high attendance.
That's not a recipe for high attendance.
As expected, the last couple of years have caught up with them. It's going to take playoff noise to get things back on track.
Is that actually it? 11400 seems really low regardless of how the team is doing.
That's Eric's 7th tripping penalty of the year.
That's 4 more than both the next most trippy player (M. Koivu, R. Bourque, Vermette), AND the amount of goals he has this year.
Look at attendance the last 2 years and then look at this. What else could it be if not fans turning off due to a lack of team success? It's hard to believe that attendance would plummet like this if the team had been even moderately watchable while they had fan buy-in.
One of my co-workers is at his first Canes game (although he isn't rooting for them since he's from NY)... not going to be a good first impression.11400 paid attendance.....eesh. That is bad.
NHL.com has the game listed as final.
Solid win.
We're averaging 16K at home this season though. It seems like losing 4-5K fans off of that number shouldn't be because of one losing streak.
That's not what I mean... our STH numbers are clearly down from last year and the losing streak + opponent + timing depresses single-game sales. If our STH numbers were better and the team had some hype this would have been a 14k kind of game, but prolonged frustration is starting to take a toll. The biggest thing being STH losses.
What are you doing Gerbe?
