Vancouver, B.C.
Vancouver needs to add IMO, Woo's value is very low, this is his D+5 season and he has never threatened to crack the roster.

As a Canucks fan I would do it as written, no question, if the cap could be managed but I feel it's a bit low for Boston IMO
Most Canucks fans like it and honestly think the Nucks need to add.

they’ve been using Zboril on both sides of the ice for years in the NHL and AHL. iirc he even played the right side in juniors.
It’s not a skill everyone has after playing the same side of the ice for years
I have liked the way Zboril has looked. The fact that he can play both sides proves his versatility. I don't want to jinx him, because he's playing well. He seems inspired playing with his buddy, Zacha. Decent size. Has some offensive skill and can move the puck. The experience he gains here will be more valuable when McAvoy returns. Keep it up!

Have not looked at his analytics, since it's a small sample size so far. Passes the eye test. Playing like a 1st rounder finally? Wouldn't that be something?

Any chance we try for Chychrun now? I believe the price came down a half point or so from last season

Bruins really need big D who can hit and step up for his team mates and need a real enforcer, right now this D corp is so soft that he can win the ladybing trophee...next to be hurt by a head hit it s gonna be Lindholm and could be a complet desaster...other teams know that they can take libertys on this soft team

It amazes me how much more interested this place was in Foligno/Nosek vs Steen/McGlaughlin takes compared to the injury updates on Marchand and Gryz. I don’t exclude myself from this take either. Maybe it is the lack of concrete info on Marchand. Maybe at 2-0 there is less concern of a total collapse.

On Gryz does Reilly move to the right?
Lindholm Reilly/Zboril
Gryz Zboril/Reilly
Forbort Clifton

I don't think anyone knows what to make of Marchand's no contact jersey today. I can't imagine he's coming back 6 weeks ahead of schedule. Maybe they were just doing flow drills or walk thru's so no contact was planned.

I am excited to get Grzelcyk back, but this defense is getting more and more one-dimensional. I'll also be glad to add Stralman to the mix to balance things out.

Keep in mind that Grzelcyk has been practicing with the team for over a week now and has yet to see game action. I doubt Marchand gets into the lineup for a while, but it does seem like he is also ahead of his recovery schedule.

Agreed but coach said he expects Gryz in within a week. So he is right around the corner.

I do not want Brad to come back to quickly, but it is a great sign that he is out there and apparently he looks really good out there.

Is it worth revisiting Tomas Hertl?

San Jose is off to an 0-4 start. I wonder if new management would consider dealing Tomas Hertl? Mike Grier didn't sign Hertl, and he traded Burns over the summer.

Hertl's got a NMC so he'd have to not want to be part of Grier's rebuild.
That depends on who we are sending the other way....

you would think they'd demand Pasta or McAvoy in any return for Hertl, which obviously defeats the purpose. Then again, Dallas got Tyler Seguin without giving up Jamie Benn or whoever so it's not unheard of.

Maybe Lysell & Carlo would get talks started? Hertl would be an incredible add. Could play the wing this year and then take over at C next year assuming 37 and/or 46 are gone.

and why would San Jose trade their only known drawing card, which Hertl is
