Zucc and Del Zotto punched each other after the game, wtf...aren't they teammates?
 
His best game as a Ranger imo.
Completely dominated the leafs I their zone. And the dirty shootout goal of course...

He pissed them off, just like last night against the Wild when Cooke leveled him. Thats the risk when he keeps getting under their skin like that. But I love it.

Zucc is about to create a name for himself in the league.
 
All I know is that he has worked hard to improve his game, and I don't recall seeing him take a night off. He may have an off game, but he always brings the effort, in my opinion.
And he makes some cool plays out there, and he scores some nice clutch goals now and then, and he shows no fear, and he is a good example to all. He is a bright light on this team.
 
He and McDonagh have been the team's best two players. Period. Give the guy a raise and sign him for the next 5 years. He's light years ahead of the next best passer on the team.

I am with you 100 percent. I think he's an RFA and I still wouldn't leave this till the off-season or try to hardball the guy. He took a salary hit for the team this season, still plays hard every game and is easily our best forward. I would do the right thing, make him an offer now, and work on locking him to a fair deal. He is earning it, all he does is improve, and there is no sign he will get worse or complacent. His own self-expectations seem too high for that.
 
I´m positive Zucc will settle for a long term contract for a fairly low amount. Give him 3 or 4 years, 2,5-3 mill and he will take it. Sign him.

Don't know about DelZotto, but Zucca is 1/4 Italian, since his grandmother is pure Italian.

Borned and raised and learned his hockey ABC in Norway though, before moving to Sweden i 2008 to play for Modo along side with Foppa, and Rangers Alumni's Näslund,Sundström and Josh Green, if anyone can remember him?

Foppa was playing injured and Näslund who had just retired from NHL and Rangers was talked in to do a few games (29) to help a struggling Modo He did no training during the off season.
