Love how the Isles double teamed Kakko along the boards and he did not turn the puck over. Hands/Size.

One of them was Chara. Once he realized he couldn't win that puck battle he took his hand off his stick and pushed KK's head down allowing Kakko to push the puck out and away behind the net.

This is the type of game that is infectious, because the confidence gained playing like this feeds on itself and spreads to everyone else. As big a win as you can get to end pre season

I wouldn't call him the best player, but I thought Georgie had a good game. 2 nasty deflections, but made some big saves when it counted.

I was suprised with how good Kravtsov looked, smart movement and puck management.

If Strome is only day to day the Rangers could be in a tough spot because you'd likely wnat to keep Barron up. But to keep Barron up someone else has to go down of the 23. There's no one, other than Kravtsov or Laf who can be sent down without passing through waivers. And I don't want to send down Hunt or Gauthier and risk losing them.

Rooney and Blais aren't going anywhere. If you want him over Kravy that's the only spot.

Yeah Laf had two assists but I was not impressed with his overall game. I watch him this year and I see what I saw from Kakko the last two: someone who just doesn’t know where to be or how to make an impact play when he gets the puck (which it ironic because I didn’t feel like Laf looked that way last year, but he looks lost right now).

He looked lost at the beginning of last year too. He may just need some time to get in a groove.

Beating their A team without our star players was super sweet.

What a confidence booster using only the youngsters in OT to bring it home. I love Gallant.

I love how confident Kakko looks. I'm so excited to see what he can do this year. And all nasty shots from Chytil....Laf even was very noticeable this game, great passes and robbed by Sorokin. Preseason or not this was exciting to see.
