There's no doubt we overpaid for it but we got exactly what we needed.... and we still have a ton in reserves

I honestly am in awe at how good Kakko looks, it can’t be understated. This guy is borderline dominant defensively, his transition game is insane and he’s got all the tools offensively.

If what we’ve seen this pre-season continues we have a 55+ point, top 10 selke candidate on our hands.

He was legitimately the best player on the ice tonight.

Laf pls be like Kakko next year

Yeah Laf had two assists but I was not impressed with his overall game. I watch him this year and I see what I saw from Kakko the last two: someone who just doesn’t know where to be or how to make an impact play when he gets the puck (which it ironic because I didn’t feel like Laf looked that way last year, but he looks lost right now).

I watch him this year and I see what I saw from Kakko the last two: someone who just doesn’t know where to be or how to make an impact play when he gets the puck (which it ironic because I didn’t feel like Laf looked that way last year, but he looks lost right now).

And it's obvious because no one else on the team looks that way. So, that's the positive.
