Yeah he wasn't playing with Stamkos and Forsberg when I made this proposal 3 weeks ago. He's been cleaning up some goals and scoring, but I still don't think he's capable of driving play on his own. He's also the easiest to trade of the 3 signings from July as he only has a 15 team no trade vs a full NMC

Well, there's still zero reason for the Preds to want to trade one of the few players with any success right now. Especially after they just signed him a couple months ago. And especially not for Zibanejad.

I don't think a a RH powerplay shooting specialist past his prime and in decline is really the complement the Preds need to try to get things back on track, especially for Stamkos.
