Would do it for Skjei; which is in the same vein as this. Not doing it for JAM though. Have too many wingers

Nashville easily declines.

Additionally, the timing sucks. Marchessault has scored in four straight games and has a point in seven consecutive games. He's been on fire for almost a month.

Yeah he wasn't playing with Stamkos and Forsberg when I made this proposal 3 weeks ago. He's been cleaning up some goals and scoring, but I still don't think he's capable of driving play on his own. He's also the easiest to trade of the 3 signings from July as he only has a 15 team no trade vs a full NMC

Well, there's still zero reason for the Preds to want to trade one of the few players with any success right now. Especially after they just signed him a couple months ago. And especially not for Zibanejad.

I don't think a a RH powerplay shooting specialist past his prime and in decline is really the complement the Preds need to try to get things back on track, especially for Stamkos. :laugh:
