Zegras put up 61, 65 to Suzukis 41, 41.

I think zegras has the higher potential, right now they are pretty close…. The poll doesn’t really say this year or going forward…. So assuming it’s going forward , zegras pretty comfortably…. This year prob debatable

I’d probably take Zegras for his offensive

But the 2nd 41 points, it’s in 56 games during covid.

big fan of Zegras hes flashy and fun to watch but isnt he more a winger in the NHL ?

Suzuki is a 2 way center and our captain pretty sure most people take Trevor and i cant argue the choice hes the better offensive player but i think you win more games with Suzuki

hard to tell today with Zegras being 2 years younger im sure he will have the better numbers at the end

Suzuki is overrated by Habs fans, while Zegras is overrated by basically everyone. Zegras may have a higher ceiling, but I’m not sure he sticks long term as a centre. He’s atrocious defensively, weak at faceoffs and is not a guy you want to be targeted at during the postseason.

While zegras isn’t great defensively…. I’ll wait and see how much is from Eakins.

lindholm went from looking like ass under Eakins/team to 4th in Norris voting.

Is zegras going to win a selke? No…. But I’m guessing he’s a bit better defensively than shown and will improve there as he matures

Zegras is 2 years younger and has put up better numbers in the last 2 years.

He hasn't stood out defensively, but I think everyone on the Ducks gets a fresh start defensively now that Eakins is gone...

Different types of players, on the Ducks I take Zegras though. His defensive shortcomings are going to be masked by probably being moved to wing with Carlsson/McTavish at C. His personality is going to bring in more fans, though. Something smaller market teams need to worry about. Also need more offense, the Ducks are horrible at drafting offensive forwards and will have other guys that could fill the defensive role.

whats overrated because we have always seen Suzuki has a good 2C that can play both sides of the ice which is a fair imo

maybe a few Habs fans saying crazy stuff but most of our fan base sees Nick has a 2 way #2 center in the NHL

Suzuki is more well rounded while Zegras has more extreme skills but has some deficiencies.

Suzuki for this year but good chance Zegras going forward.

Suzuki is a great player but you guys really pumped up his tires the last 2 years & he hasn't taken that next step yet. I remember Suzuki was always ranked from your fanbase as being above Nico Hischier when it wasn't true (this season just proves it). There's a few centers you guys put him above but Nico was the notable one.
