If the Habs got taken behind the woodshed in that deal for Dvorak, it doesn't mean other teams will take it up the *utt as well.

Caufield has some updside, I won't deny that but he's had a rough go after his stellar play in those so called playoffs, last year.

Ducks have no reason to move Zegras. None at all. I would love to get Zegras on the Habs but they are much better off to hope to get a top two pick in Wright or Savoie because young players like Zegras pretty much never get traded.

There aren't a whole lot of assets in the league that would convince a team to trade away a young player with star potential like Zegras.

Zegras has shown that hes one of the few players in the league that can keep up with Caufield and hit him in that sweet spot for the one tee,, in order for the Habs to get full value out of Cole and use him properly, they need someone like Zegras to be robin to Coles Batman.

Here is what I propose,,

:habs

Zegras
Zellwegger
4th round pick

:ducks

Norlinder
Mysak
2023 1st round pick
2024 1st round pick
Tuch (to be flipped to Buffalo for another pick to play with his brother - Buffalo would value him higher to you could probably get another 1st rounder out of this).

D-swap of prospecs in Norlinder and Zellwegger as it seems Norlinder would look good in Anaheims system.

Potentially three 1st rounders for Zegras.. Bit of an overpay for MTL but you have to pay to get good players.,,

Not happening. Not a single reason for ANA to do a quantity deal.

The 4th round pick is the big deal in this offer... little change: maybe a 5rd pick would make a big difference for Anaheim... a no could be a yes

No way Tuck brings back a first.
And this is a terrible trade offer for Anaheim.

Was it fifteen years ago, when "Ryder, Halak & a 2nd" was offered in almost every proposal? Funny how the time flies...

There's a lot wrong here.
#1 You're trading for the better player to help out the struggling player.
#2 You don't offer the 2022 pick.
#3 Even with the 2022 pick (which we're assuming isn't first overall?) Ducks don't really have a reason to make this trade.

17-9-6 teams don't trade off current assets for future assets.

lol yup typical habs fan proposal tbh
This isn't a reflection of most of us who have acknowledged for quite some time, the lunacy this poster displays on a consistent basis.

Every team has fans like this. Habs (like the Leafs and other bigger markets) sadly have more of them, and this one might be the most notable.
