Pretty sure Karri Ramo should be pretty much rehabbed at this point from his knee injury last year. Probably would take a $650k gig on a one way deal. Was a serviceable G.

You can have Pickard, but it will cost you a decent amount. At least it would give you a suitable option, to keep your hope alive.

I don't know about that. Was Zatkoff a live body when he played those games at the Kings goal? Could have fooled me.

Yeah we might need to up our standards from "this guy has a pulse" to "this guy won't cover his face when shots come his way"

So in one year, LA loses Jones to trade, Berube to waivers, Bartosak to stupidity, and now Quick and Zatkoff to injury, lol, leaving us with Campbell, Budaj, and Imoo (and jack Flinn) beyond that. McCollum who was at camp with us signed with Calgary someone said, so he's not even an option either...man DL must be running his head into the wall. That, or he's just realizing his pact with the devil for the 2014 Cup has come back full circle.

JONAH IMOO TO BE BACKED UP BY FATHER DUSTY

As goalie Jonah Imoo is making his first pro start it will be his father Dusty, the Reign’s goalie coach, who will serve as his backup.

Jonah Imoo, 22, was with the Reign through development camp and training camp and played in just three games last season split between the Southern Professional Hockey League and the Federal Hockey League. Most of his experience comes from time spent in the British Columbia Hockey League, where he played consistently from 2012-15. His father of course has a bit more of a decorated resume, including playing for Japan in the 1998 Winter Olympics. Dusty Imoo, 46, has been a goalie coach in some capacity since 2008 and is in his second season with the Kings organization. He’ll occasionally put the pads on if the Reign need him to in practice

They probably regret releasing Tom McCollum...

Yeah, if only we had forseen our two NHL goaltenders going down with long term injuries in the first three games of the season. Then we would have had McCollum as additional ECHL depth because he wouldn't be any better than Budaj, Campbell, or Imoo, or even Flinn, as he showed us in our camp. Definitely needed that redundancy.

No, we need an NHL-capable goalie.

If I were the Canucks just trade Miller for a conditional 1st, condition being Kings win the cup this year otherwise it becomes a 7th rounder, win win from this Nucks fan, Markstrom needs to see at least 55 games this year and isn't going to happen with Miller in the picture. If Kings need to shed a contract we could take Zatkoff coming the other way as well as retaining 50% of Millers 6 M. Should make it work or be close to it.

Quick is back in under 3 months

No need to get a Miller or other big name

Kuemper could be a fit

Issue is Minny wants to contend, so why trade to a contender in the same conference. If LA wants a goalie from the west has to be from a team in semi rebuild mode.

Otherwise their best bet is NYI to get one of their three.

How about the Kings trade your team nothing, you cry "that's too much ..... wait, for what again?" and we win another Stanley Cup anyway because now we're the underdog and our guys know this is the year we prove we're the real dynasty of the past decade.

Ahhh so this is the year you trade for another meh player at the deadline when you are on the outside looking in, miss the playoffs and get further into your eventual rebuild without a top pick? I thought that's what you meant.
