His agent leaked that Zadorov has been approaching the Flames to re-sign him after the Flames reportedly stopped talking extension with pending UFAs. I think this may be to try and get him that extension.
On the flip side the agent complained of ice-time and Zaddy's time has dropped 3 games in a row and he never touched the ice in OT.

Zadorov for Girard. With Girard out of the lineup Avs would be a serious contender again.

I wouldn't be shocked if most veterans request a trade out of Calgary before the deadline. It would just be a matter of which ones become public.

I’m betting he ends up in Vancouver for Garland or Beauvillier. His agent I swear is an assistant GM for us and his clients always end up in Canucks colours with the new regime.

His speed is fine. Stopping and starting is hard for anyone at that size, himself included. So east west passing plays or quick dangles can leave hin out of position.

The flames have no room in their roster for mid six players, particularly under sized ones. The flames are looking for picks and prospects.
Man, as a leafs fan I can only help but salivate at the idea of having a large, physical, defensively solid dman who wants to win and will stick up for his teammates in this locker room.
I am still angry that they let Schenn go but they could right that wrong by picking up Zadorov. They should also fire Klingberg into the sun and ship him off for future considerations.

Yeah the Flames have to be extremely picky with who can play for them, considering where they are in the standings. If they add any 2nd/3rd liners they may not position themselves well for the Stanley Cup. Especially a 2nd/3rd liner without size!
It's basically a team full of 1st liners with size - like Huberdeau.

Well considering he's under contract to the Flames and the guy that has to trade him works for the Flames... Yeah what they want does matter... We were already calling around on our pending UFAs anyways according to rumors, so what's really the difference? He's not going to stop trying and make it so no one wants him.

Beat reporter for the devils. Breaking rumors and whatnot isn't his thing, but this is probably legit if only because all that's really going on here is him reaching out to zadorovs representation to see if he'd be willing to come to NJ, which ultimately doesn't mean anything.
He was the first person, way before anyone else, who had the sharks way in on zetterlund when Timo talk was going on though
