They should’ve thought about that possibility when they agreed to this contract with Werenski then? I won’t even go into the “should’ve built a better team” stuff because they’ve gotten so unlucky with things no one could possibly plan for, but there is always a risk that your plan just doesn’t work out

Why handicap yourself and meet Werenski’s unreasonable demands forcing a trade to a single team? He can sit out if he wants to or put on his big boy pants and carry his team like a leader is supposed to do.
