soderbloms a 'huge' sleeper that could turn into a 30 goal scorer . very smart player with real good hands , excellent shot , and a goal scorers killer instincts that knows how to use his reach to hold onto pucks forever til he finds the needed space . he could become an elite offensive zone weapon

Calgary honestly has an underrated prospect pool. Not unusual considering guys like Andersson, Gaudreau, Fox, Mangiapane were guys nobody talked about until they had to be talked about. My personal order would be pretty different though (I consider Ruzicka graduated).

Is a 23 yo with 56 games over three seasons and no longer Calder eligible who’s clearly a full time guy count as a prospect now? Where does the threshold for prospects end?

Wow, I thought the Blues prospect pool was depleted, but you guys are right down there with us. ;)
I see you haven't got Ryan Mast on your list. How's he developing? In his draftyear I though he could've been a really nice late round pick-up.

For the Blues IMO:

There's a clear top 4 I think most Blues will agree on:
01. Jimmy Snuggerud
02. Zach Bolduc
03. Jake Neighbours (already made debut)
04. Joel Hofer (already made debut)

'Certain' future NHL players
05. Michael Buchinger
06. Nikita Alexandrov (already made debut)

'Probable' future NHL players
07. Matt Kessel
08. Tyler Tucker (already made debut)
09. Simon Robertsson (plays in a very sheltered role, could move up a bracket if his TOI, and points, improve)
10. Vadim Zherenko (is undervalued due to him having to back up Hofer - one of the better goalies in the AHL)

HM's (could very well slot in the second or third bracket in the future, or not at all):
Aleksanteri Kaskimaki (haven't seen enough of him to judge)
Arseni Koromyslov
Marc-André Gaudet (Blues are apparantly very high on him and he could be a lot higher on the list next year)
Leo Loof
Tanner Dickinson (would normally be in the top 10, but his injury is worrying)

I was just trying to do this list myself and it's hard. There are other guys who are lower end prospects, but could be top 10 for us. I couldn't decide who to leave out or even what order to put them in.

If we exclude the goalies, I'd probably add in Grubbe and Trivigno.

Total guess because the Canucks prospect pool is awful:

1. Danila Klimovich
2. Jonathan Lekkerimaki
3. Elias Pettersson
4. Jack Rathbone
5. William Lockwood
6. Aidan McDonough
7. Arturs Silovs
8. Joni Jurmo

And at that, it’s not even worth continuing this list. Myrenberg would’ve been 3rd for me but we traded him for a career AHL player.
As a Canuck fan this is embarrassing.

Hes played more than 35 NHL games... Apparently kids that have played any NHL games aren't considered prospects anymore as per certain comments in the thread lol
I don’t think when you’re past Calder eligibility or are full time NHL players that you’re a “prospect” anymore

Tomasimo is kind of a weird one though since he player an entire full season at 20 and was quite good and then inexplicably didn’t make the team this year. That’s a rare case

No Tomasino?

Graduated. Him, Jeannot and Carrier.

You can thank John Hynes for that.

yup, it's ugly. and won't get better soon as they are going all in. lysell and lohrei are both going to be good ones.

mast i've only seen once this year and he was excellent. but that was in october. he's been out for a while.
i'm not sure about his long-term prospects, but would probably say long shot at this point. couple of guys
on the b's board see him fairly often, so they'd know better.

What can you tell us about Lohrei? I don't know anything about him. Who's a comp for him?
