Vanacek was NEVER a starter. Who hired Blackwood? Who hired Vanacek? Who had input for goalies? Who didn't want to spend the money? Isn't Brodeur a goalie, he knows what is going on, where is his mouth? Vanacek was a weak backup when hired from the Washington Capitals.
