Folks this is a bottom five in the league defense with a negative goal differential 14 games into the season. You cannot expect the playoffs averaging over 3 GA.
Up to Fitz to fix it .. I think he will. GM meetings are currently going on, so you never know .. something might happen soon.

tired of like the hive mind people here who see one quote and follow.

If you think Tatar wouldn’t help this team that is struggling to score 5v5 you are a hockey casual, don’t really understand anything in depth with the game
Tatar was a nice little player here and not a difference maker. This is like a few years ago when I was told Bastian being out was the problem.

If Tatar is the answer then I’m a 40 year “hockey casual”.

Let’s be honest our goaltenders suck complete ass. This isn’t a game where you should be giving up 5 goals. Every decent chance is in the net.
Yep. I know we all turn a blind eye to schmid (myself included), but other teams get saves on a lot of chances that constantly go in on Nj. Goaltending is a serious issue and the fact there is nobody coming up either (jury is still out on schmid in the long run), is not good. And that again is on the GM.

Folks we are fourteen games in and this is a bottom five defensive team with a negative goal differential average over 3 GA per game. You cannot expect that to make the playoffs, even with jack Hughes. This is abysmal shit from a team with high expectations. Really shameful performance from game 1 all the way through so far.

Team is really bad without Jack.

We’re giving up goals left and right. Crazy to think that missing Jack doesn’t even feel like it’s been what’s hurt us so far.

It’ll be great to have him back this week if he’s ready, but we’ve still got all kinds of shit to work out from the net out.

Hahaha but he’s playing good bruh he has a positive heat map and a great corsi and a tremendous gf/ga/sa/sg or whatever other goofy stat that’s kept
We're giving up 5 goals per game, I don't really think the guy averaging 1.5 ppg is the one you want to shit on but hey here we are

It's Jack and Nico.

Our centers right now are severely lacking. And that is with McLeod playing well.
Nico was barely even doing anything himself before the injury. It was all Jack. Fourteen games in and they have done nothing to show they can play well enough to win without him carrying them. This is ugly ugly ugly.

Any team is going to be much worse with both of their franchise centers out. But this is just beyond bad.

It's like everyone simultaneously forgot how to play defense at the same time.

I'm not sure they're that good with him. We might win and make the playoffs but our goaltending and team defense is going to choke us in the playoffs if there is no change.
Stop it. They’re great with Jack. The goaltending is a HUGE issue, but the team is very good otherwise.

Guy living off jack he goes out and playoff bratt makes a comeback. So yeah if jack was out another 15 games think bratt stays at 1.5?

Logan Thompson would be a good move but Vegas isn't trading a 770k great value goalie when they're cap strapped
