Please with this bullshit. The Devils got their lunch fed to them that period aside from a few shifts. The expected goals are 1.62 to 0.66 in favor of Boston, so we got exactly what we deserved.

The vast majority of their shot attempts were from the outside and one of their goals was beer league embarrassment from your guy.

Boston had some chances. I do not care about their shot total.

Boston has been the better team, which they would have probably been, no matter who we threw in goal.

But the Blackwood experience needs to end.

He was really elite for 3 months over 3 years ago.

Andrew Hammond was elite for a 3 month span at one point. We know Andrew Hammond wasn't a good goaltender and that was his peak. The peak of Blackwood has come and gone. He isn't a good goalie.

He wasn't even good in the AHL before he made his NHL debut.

The Devils are giving up about 5 expected goals per 3 periods. Find a new slant. Blackwood stunk, but that’s a horrible period of hockey.

Don't wish him ill will but he is a pos did nothing but underperform after he was a 6th overall pick ...I was a big supporter saw the skill but he is a lazy underachiever...Did nothing for the Devils to deserve his draft status

The devils were fine until graves took a stupid penalty that was kinda soft from a known diver, and then it went to shit. But Blackwood is godawful and should have never been starting this game.

Graves is slow as hell and I’d play Luke over him the next two games.


Anyway awful first.

Oh and another thing, the bruins are the kings of interference on the backend. Watch how they put their arm out to slow people down or flat out skate into their lanes.
