Broken ribs aren’t too terrible thankfully. They heal quickly over 3-5 weeks

Me guessing here, but the tweet said "Back to Jersey" that, with the fact that it would seem like a waste to fly out Saturday night or Sunday morning to Jersey just to fly back out again the same day. So I'd imagine they either stayed the night in Montreal or flew out over night to Philly that night. But to answer your question. Not sure.

It’s entirely possible Nico went home right after the MTL game, they just didn’t announce anything either way until today.

I would have thought they went home before Philly, but sounds like it was straight to Philly.

Looks like they got in pretty late after a slight delay. Maybe the flight couldn’t take off because of snow in Montreal.

Aren't too terrible from a long term healing perspective, sure

but man, I've broken a couple and separated some ribs another time every time it's f***ing awful. "Hurts to breathe deeply" is not a great thing for maintaining fitness in the interim.
