Dobes is an excellent netminder and the finest rookie in nets that I've seen since Andrew Hammond. He's the real deal. Possibly the best guy between the pipes for the Habs since Patrick Roy or Dryden. That's how much potential and poise the kid has.

Lane Hutson is the best young D I've seen since Nieds. Jack Eye is the most physically impactful and dominant defenseman the league has seen since Scott Stevens IMO.

And what a shrewd move MTL made in taking Slafkovsky at 1st overall over noted bust Shane Wright and She Moan Nemits.

What a fantastic team they have up there. This Habs club is also scorching hot. Even hotter than the fine women up in Montreal, which is really saying something. We're probably screwed, especially with Jake the quake. It would have been hard enough to stay in it even with Marky.

I just wanna see a Bratt - Hischier - Meier line for at least a full game this season. I think that’s the key to this core as currently constructed. Jack doesn’t need Bratt to be Jack and Bratt doesn’t need Jack to be Bratt. But Meier needs someone like Bratt and Jack and Meier shouldn’t be on the same line. So that’s my dream lineup that i think will unlock a new gear for the top-6.
