That's what they want you to think. Just a bunch of Swiss guys with their delicious foods and reliable watches. It just feels like they're up to something. I'd keep an eye on those three.

Perhaps. ESPN+/Hulu also have Caps-Pens at 7 and judging by the schedules they like to keep their game staggered when they have 2.

They typically always make our games against "central division" teams a bit later for the fans that are use to the later starts

I would have preferred Rittich. Ingram is an older, highly-touted prospect who did the awesome 1st NHL game, much less good second NHL game thing in late Oct/early Nov. Who knows what we get, but I’ll take it over Saros.

Ya , I am glad Saros is out. He has the ability to steal games that they have no reason winning.
I feel much better him not starting.
Rittich does too but he is way more inconsistent. Some games he is lights out , others he lets in a softy or two . I have not watched Ingram play , heres hoping he sucks tonight

Not really, 7:30 home games are very rare and it’s typically for National TV. Usually Canadian TV.

I guess this is for ESPN but that’s weird so *shrug*, but we only have this and one other (scheduled, not traffic related) 7:30 home game, against Vancouver.

I would guess the visiting teams themselves would prefer 7pm games so they could get home earlier.

I wish there were more 7:30 starts, I’m often late for games, but they make them early for people who take the train home. (I think that’s the reasoning.)

Every team has 8 games between ESPN/ABC and ESPN+. None of our games made it on the ESPN portion of the schedule (because the team has been bad for 10 years) so we were left with the max 8 games on ESPN+. Also a lot of the game got grouped together as a bulk of the ESPN+ schedule is front loaded. ESPN and ABC start carrying weekly games in January.

Same here. If we lose , and look bad doing it , I will be back to crying myself to sleep until the next game and want to trade everyone.

Being serious now , I still think we need to fire Recchi and get at least one scoring winger in order to make a legit push for a wild card spot.
Tarasenko once again looks like he he needs to get moved for cap reasons and him and their coach not seeing eye to eye.
I have said it a million times Id like Tarasenko but maybe if I keep on it I can will it into existence like Hamilton signing .

I believe it was Nico's first game I was at where there was a large Swiss contingent one section over.

Those guys had cowbells half the size of my torso and a few large horns.

From the sound of it both he and Lindy sounded as if there is a plan for him to play while he's up (also sounded as if Bernier isn't going to be back anytime soon - and Daws' injury also may require some time).

Thought that tonight might have been an option since the next two are divisional games but since the Predators are the best of the three teams it might be a tough task to ask him to start against them in his NHL debut.

Why is it that every time we seem to THINK we have the Backup Goaltender issue resolved, crap happens?

Like someone else said it seems to be karmic payback for having the most durable goalie in history for two decades.

Then again I kinda don’t believe in karma with the Pats going from Brady right to Mac Jones and another top seeded team
