I mean I understand not wanting to break up the Zajac like because it worked.

It’s already questionable to shake it up as much as this. To shake the lines up even more wouldn’t be smart.
Its only two wingers swapping spots and Boqvist in for Hayden. Not too much turnover.

Hey Gusev, you were our best all around player last night and we only gave you 13 minutes. So now we are gonna see what you can do with only 12min!

Smart. Although considering how choppy those lines are, maybe they give these guys 15 or so.

Wood has been moved, Gusev has been moved, Bratt has moving nonstop even in game last night...and we haven't even seen if there are any D changes.

Coleman had by far the best game. 2 goals and best underlying numbers as well. No one was close to him

Wood was actually quite good last night.

He was...I'll give him that credit, and most people know I don't love him as a player. The penalty was stupid, but other than that, he was very explosive making things happen.

On the surface though, I just don't like that combination. Obviously, I could be completely wrong and they mesh incredibly well together, but just on a surface level, that combination isn't something that overly appeals to me. I'll see how it shakes out though.

Hughes and Gusev had to be split up. When they were on the ice, things didn’t go very well. Hard to call him our best player.

And anyway, he’s not getting demoted, I bet that 4th line listed plays more than the third line.

Hughes and Bratt were also not working. Having Wood there instead of Gusev isn't going to fix it. Coleman with Hughes and Bratt or Gusev is the answer

I think Zacha looked very good last night.

I feel very good about Zacha from the 2 games I've seen him in this year. Extremely impressed. If everyone is playing to their potential, our forward contingent could wreak havoc every game. The talent level is balanced so they should be able to take turns being amazing.

Coleman is like Type O Negative blood type...you can transfuse him anywhere in the lineup and it will work.
He's like the team motor, you can always count on him to take a shift and provide some life out there.

Classic Devils player that would fit right in on any of our all-time great teams.

I wouldn’t take him off the Zajac line yet. That line worked. We need some continuity. Way too soon for panic bingo ball mode.

Oh for sure they work great together, he's just one of my favorite players on the team and is extremely versatile.
