yea i kind of knew this would happen eventually. the salvador-volchenkov pairing has been abysmal this game.

You can't have them together, all the more reason why Fayne sitting in the box is stupid. The two of them have been better apart, together they add nothing offensively and make stupid mistakes.

Fayne is a lynchpin to this D, why he is sitting is baffling to me.

PK has been awful last 6 games. Wow. Talk about not getting the job done.

I just went to google Bryce, and realized he lives 5 minutes from me. I plan to show up at his door like this.

I'm so ****ing sick of DeBoer double shifting Kovalchuk on the 4th line. It never helps, ever, yet he continues to do it every single game. I guarantee all of you that if DeBoer doesn't tone this **** down, Kovy will be a non-factor come playoff time.

And why is the PK so bad all of a sudden? Volch/Salvador were absolutely horrible on that last Islander PP. They were chasing all over the place, behind the net, they left the slot wide open. It was pathetic.

Worst game of the season for this club. They could be down 3 or 4 but Hedberg has been good

Even though Fayne hasn't been his strongest the past two games, he's still better than Tallinder has been this season. Fayne is just a steady minute eater we can always rely on, sitting him makes no sense.

This is one of the reasons I wasn't crazy about Sal getting the "C". It really complicates sitting him down. I'm not saying we should do it (yet), but it will be complicated if it gets to that point.

And fare thee well, Tallinder...have a nice life.

This board really need some chill pills. Back to back games. Games like this are going to happen.

It's one game so not a huge deal but back to back my ass.

Team was playing tight and well until 3 minutes left in the period when they decided to **** it.

Fayne out and Tallinder in are two processes that hurt the team. we pass up a strong, sound defender for a weakling who takes too long to make decisions + takes the most hilariously weak shots on net instead of doing something productive.

Advanced stats will never show the 3 hilariously bad giveaways/weakling plays by tallinder per game
