On defense I went with right shooting defensemen only for the right side. There are a few better left shooting options available.
I feel like I overlooked a couple of forwards.
*Haven't seen them play in so long, so I am not entirely sure how their development has been going.

Its actually the worst age group for us to make a team I would say lol. Necas, Chytil, Zadina, Blumel are 24-25 so too old, and the interesting prospects except for Kulich and Jiricek are still too young. In that 20-23yrs range we are pretty much shit without any NHLer lol. Its sad, but it is what it is .

Edit: well not as much like shit that would be an overstatement, more like we lack some complete players other countries have. Still most are getting there and waiting for proper NHL chance.

But if I have to I will try for Czechs:

Kulich (2004) - Sapovaliv (2004) - Melovsky (2004)
Rychlovsky (2001) - Becher (2004) - Sale (2005)
Najman (2001) - Szturc (2003) - Chmelar (2003)
Brabenec (2003) - Mysak (2002) - Jecho (2006)
Rymon (2004)

D. Jiricek (2004) - Spacek (2003)
Tichacek (2003) - Svozil (2003)
Hovorka (2001) - Dvorak (2005)
Hamara (2004) - A. Jiricek (2006)

Suchanek (2003) - Malek (2002) - Hrabal (2005)

You have 8 guys from 1st or 2nd round ... would say (wont count it personaly lol) that majority is top 100 of the last drafts. So its not terrible at all, but at the same time there is not a single player here who made some serious impact or even became a regular NHLer yet. So more of a promising for the future team, then some actual powerhouse right now lol

Thats probably what I would say .. what do you think?

Beauty job!

I think today they lose but in 2 years this is a very good group. I find it very promising on D and G. I find the forwards very intriguing. A lot of these guys won't age out next year.

This is our promising generation which follows our shitty generation. That black hole between 20 and 28.
