Weather has been the shits this season, game hasn't been great. Finally posted a good one last night in some nice weather. 69, was 4 under on the front 9. Still only won 2/3 points in our Men's League haha

That’s an amazing score. The sport must be so fun when you shoot that low.


Went out for my first 18 of the season and my first 18 at Niakwa in three years. The back nine is really nice. Course is in really good shape.

I’m usually wild off the tee but today was perfect for golf and oddly I was feeling it??? I Shot a 39 on the front nine and was actually striking the ball well and felt confident. I over heated a bit on the back nine (what a hot gorgeous day) and my tee shot control regressed to the mean and I was a 44 on the back nine.

I am fit for an old f*** but the heat of the day took me down.

Man am i sick of playing a wet golf course. The amount of rain we have gotten this summer is unbelievable. Hard to believe only a couple of years ago we almost ran out of water because the Sceine river was just about empty.

We had a slow group in front of us on the front 9 , took us over 2 hours on the front but they quit after 9 and we played the back 9 in 1 hour and 30 minutes.Slow golf is very frustrating.

I did the reverse. I kind of didn’t get out in May and golfed more in June but weather wise this year to date has been a bit of a hazing ritual for Golfers, cottagers, people trying to get outside. I am at the Lake this week so I’m going to go about two weeks without a club in my hand but the following week both my kids are at camp and I am going to get to the course every day, come f***ing rain or shine……if it kills me .

And the greens with all the rain have made diabolical greens grainy bent grass towards the drainage...

It beat the living hell out of all of us... we all made some great shot... and other shots...

What a beautiful course Carman is.

Very grateful for all your knowledge on the course and how it plays. Not that anything could have helped my game today.
