Ive see a lot more in Galchenyuk this season then I have Drouin. Both have been bad statistically. But we’ve been playing games with Galchenyuk since day 1. The wrong guy is playing center.

3-11 is a crap shoot. I got Dahlin, Svechnikov, Wahlstrom, Zadina, Boqvist, Hughes, Smith, Bouchard, Dobson, Tkachuk and Kotkaniemi. As a matter of fact, if we do end up with the #5 pick and Wahlstrom is gone. I don't mind trading down a few spots.

That's kind of the point? We're a shit team offensively yet he's still over .5 PPG, 3rd most productive, 4th in goals, etc... we only have one 20-goal scorer. I don't know what you want him to do unless you think he has an inner Ovechkin in him to score 30+ on his own. He's not that player and no one is pretending he is.

What he is is a skill player who was drafted as a C, and now has great work ethic on the ice to go along with the skill and could be our 2C if we get a legit 1C. He's not blameless, but there's not much to fault him on over the past few months either in regards to his play aside from production, which no one is producing like they should up front.

I don’t know where you’re getting “so many excuses” from when I’m pointing out the elephant in the room on how we damaged the development of a player we desperately needed to work out. Drouin has never been a center, his statistics before he was even in a Habs uniform pointed that he wasn’t the 60-70 point player he was being hyped up to be. He’s a power play specialist that came at to high of a price and the reason I don’t like him right now has a lot to do with how he carries himself on the ice.
