I’m surprised he’s not a healthy scratch
Who the f*** gives a 2nd and 2 low level prospects for a 4c? Habs got Mitchell for a 7th or something stupid. Would he really be that much worse than Plekanec as the 4c? Terrible trade by Toronto. Plekanec is great defensively, but it serves no purpose when he isn't against good players. He is a PK specialist at this point.

I skipped the game, just tuned in with three minutes to go - what did I miss? How is that new kid?

Reilly has played well, got some PP time and hasn't made any major mistakes. Juulsen got walked by Barzal on a goal but every one of our D would have shown the same colours there. Lots of promise for him. Scherbak has played well in a limited role, scored when he got out with Gallagher, but he's been anchored to Froese-Shaw most of the game. lol

Tavares is incredibly streaky. The guy can have back-to-back hat tricks, put up 30 points in like 15 games and then later on put up 5 points in another 10-15 game span.

Right now for example, he has 15 points in his last 26 games (including this one) going back to the start of January. Before that he had 34 points in 27 games.

He’s done. It’s obvious. Glad we got something for him.

Thanks!

Scores... still banished. The Galchenyuk development pattern.

We just need him and patches streaking st opposite times. Strategy.
