On the tying goal, it was Bozak, Marner and Hyman wasn't it?
Correct.

you people on here act like we are contending for a cup or even playoff spot.... the ****... relax this team just started the rebuild.. getting matthews doesnt make us contenders.. dam
Right... that probably cost us the game, what a circus that goal was.
It's still hardly anything to complain about. He also made a great move but Darling actually made a save. Babcock went with a player that has been good in this previously. Hardly the problem tonight.
How 'bout how we got to the shootout in the first place? This is what the discussion should be. Not who we deployed to shoot.
I really hope Ander5en can rebound and start to give up 3 goals on a nightly basis. That would be fantastic.
People need to stop excusing this as if blowing 4 leads in 5 games is a part of "growing pains."
Yeah being up 4-0 and losing the game is "part of the process."
No these are SERIOUS lapses in the team, ESPECIALLY when the leafs are averaging nearly 4 GPG.
None of what's taken place is excusable.
We only gave up 3rd period leads 5 times all of last year, now we've given it up 4 times.
What? I don't think anybody rates him, like, at all. How can he be over rated?
I kind of wish Leafs fans on this board actually knew something about hockey too

Is Holland one of our best 3 shooters in that situation? Wouldn't surprise me, it's not real gameplay.Imagine this scenario: The Leafs need one point to make the playoffs, Babcock sends out Holland as one of the shooters. Are you happy with that decision whether he makes it or not? A point was up for grabs...whether the shootout is a gimmick or not.
How we got to the shootout? Ander5en can't make a timely save.
Yeah, a win would do this group some good. Especially one where they held onto a lead and didn't just win it in the last few seconds or in OT. You can learn from defeat, but would be nice for them to be able to feel good about a productive win. Just a reminder to them that they can actually win these kinds of games without falling apart. While I wouldn't say we are in danger of becoming Edmonton, it would be nice to win the occasional game just so the kids have something to feel confident about. Pulling positives out of tough losses is important, but so is doing it with wins.
