And Rempe might not be available tomorrow. If ever we needed him for a particular opponent, it would be the Canes.

We lost Fox and Chytil to them this year.

That’s part of it but it’s his defense that is really a problem. It’s part of the reason the rangers are one of the worst transition defenses in the league, he’s the worst in the NHL at it. Replacing him with Jones who actually tries to gap up and moving Schneider up has made a difference.

For sure, he’s not breaking up plays at the blue line which hurts the transition. Steven hawking could gain the zone on him.

Getting Wennberg especially helped our depth in the middle. Drury did better than I originally thought. Usually, the quieter moves at the TDL are the ones that work out better. Not too much of a drastic change at a time of year when the team is pretty established.

Jones is easily worth a 2nd. Kid is a trooper. Sitting out all this time. Coming back in last two playing great and also if not mistaken the game against Ottawa which changed the season in a good way again.
