Where's the best place to find out which goalies are playing on any given night? For instance, I have 3 goalies whose team is playing tonight, but only 2 spots on the roster. I want to make sure I chose the two that actually start.

I figured a teams GDT, but theres nothing really definite.

OT: Fantasy Hockey League

hey guys,

I run a 24 team fantasy hockey league and I have a few openings. We use fantrax as the fantasy system because it allows us to use over 20 teams unlike Yahoo or ESPN.

We run the league through a board like HFboards to make it easier to keep track of things. We use a salary cap, trades, Free Agency, Waivers, an Amateur Draft etc. Its like being a GM of a real NHL team in a sense.

Need to start two.

Vancouver is playing LA tonight in LA and leftwinglock.com has both Luongo and Quick starting tonight.. LA had been struggling but won their last game convincingly. Luongo's been a mess early this season, but appears to be coming out of it.

Phoenix is playing Montreal in Phoenix. Mike Smith is playing amazing, and maybe above his head. Phoenix is playing some great hockey as well.

-----My gut tells me to go with Luongo and Smith.

-----The draft resources I've spent (two goalies in the opening 5 rounds) tells me to roll my two number one's (Luongo and Quick) and wait for a high save % low scoring game.

-----The straight numbers tell me to roll Quick and Smith.

Any input or observations would be appreciated.

What do you guys think about Iginla this year? I'm really regretting taking him in the 2nd round. I'm thinking about trying to trade him for a good goalie since Varlamov is tanking my stats hard. Think anyone would even consider him for say MA Fleury?

I'm also considering dropping Hedman, even before he was injured he's looked pretty bad.

Thoughts?

lol ive threatened to trade him like 5 times already.

last week i won but my team did awful. ovy had like 3.6 total fantasy points for me last week and i think john-michael liles had the most points for me for the week which is scary since i have ovy, malkin and kopitar on my team lol
