Good to give him some reps. You just never know (was it Dinwiddie who came in for Glenn in the Grey Cup, after having never run a play outside of 3rd & short all season?)
Dinwiddie played football his entire life and couldn't throw a spiral. I don't think a few more reps would have helped him do anything.

(-2 after an 0-4 start(that could of been at worst 2-2 if the O had been clicking at all) is awesome considering the injuries we've endured.

We aren't likely to get 6TD passes and 55 points in the playoffs but we've shown that we can beat everyone in the West so if we get it over 30 and the D continues what is to me it's surprising good play then we should be able to make some noise. securing home field advantage will also improve our chances of 5 Grey Cup appearances in a row. But man oh man do I ever want us to be there next season and win in what might be our last kick at the cat for awhile.

The way this season has gone i fully expect Winnipeg to host the West Final against Hamilton via them getting in on crossover. Because it sure as hell looks like neither the Riders or Lions want to actually go to the postseason.

Such a beauty the Bombers put up this weekend. What a show by Zach and those receivers. So impressive.

With the BC loss is got so much sweeter. Something way off about that team. I can't see the Bombers not finishing first, you think one win in the next 3 is so doable.

One win doesn't quite guarantee the division. But pretty close.

Bomber scenarios this week

Lock in home playoff game:
WPG win vs HAM OR BC loss vs CGY

Lock in west division title:
WPG win vs HAM + EDM win vs SSK

Selfishly this is what i want above all else. I don't care who, or what round, i want a home playoff game.

Mostly because the boys want to go to a game and i haven't been i think since just after COVID. We were going to go this past week's game but as it is with folks in their late 20s, life finds a way to squash that. Kids, work, yadda yadda yadda. Can't go to the Toronto game since a friend's wife's birthday + thanksgiving.

Being an adult isn't as bad as the people around me made it out to be growing up, but man sometimes i miss the days where we could just go "yeah we're doing this" without having to plan around schedules/obligations

Full implosion in process in BC...

If you look at it, that Sask DL has thrown two teams season completely off the rails...

Bombers were so impressed by wilson that they released Scott...?
Doubt it had anything to do with Wilson. They brought in 3 QBs following the Streveler injury. Jake Dolegala, Bryan Scott, and brought back Darren Grainger who was injured in camp.

They selected Dolegala as the new #3 as he's been on the roster last two weeks. I'm guessing they've been evaluating in practice which of the two "prospects" they liked best on PR between Grainger and Scott and went with Grainger. Grainger is almost 5 years younger than Scott having turned 24 in July compared to Scott who turned 29 in August likely played a part.

I expect you'll see Grainger released again when PR shortens back up in mid October, then brought back for camp next year to compete for a spot.

It would have been better if the Bombers brought in Cornelius rather than Dolegala. Corny has plenty of flaws is not "good" but he has shown more potential over the years than Dolegala. I guess Dolegala actually playing this year might have played a role...but he is awful. With that said, he might actually be able to generate more yards than Wilson. With Streveler gone for the season, the Bombers probably have the worst backup in the league with the possible exception of Calgary.

Statement games by the Bombers on Friday. They absolutely destroyed the Elks. Bombers haven't won a regular season game in Hamilton since 2017 when the Cats were awful so I think they will be hard-pressed to win next weekend against a red hot Bo-Levi Mitchell.

If the Bombers lose and Saskatchewan wins, I'll be pretty worried that the Riders might sneak into first place in the coming weeks. While he doesn't generate as many TDs as you would like to see, the Harris-led offense seems to generate plenty of yardage.
