WWE: WWE TV - Raw & Smackdown Part 3

he's not gonna have much left to do once FF/Hobbs' ROI is no longer profitable. everything else is either the equivalent of direct-to-video or he's producing some shit that's gonna flop

I haven't watched wrestling consistently since about 2018 or 2019. I kind of have a vague sense of the major storylines, but have been out of the loop.

But YouTube recommended me the Roman/Rock segment from Friday and man, that's good heeling. Rock is one of those guys who was always so good and sharp as a heel that the crowd got behind him so the company pushed him babyface, but he was always way better as a heel and that promo showed it. It kind of makes me want to start watching again just to see how the Rock/Cody story plays out.

I'd temper your expectations for a Rock/Cody payoff.

I think at the end of the day this is all still leading to Rock vs. Roman. Just not sure if it's Rock playing the Tyson role and turning on Roman at Wrestlemania, or Rock overshadowing Roman over a longer period of time until Roman gets fed up with it.

The herpes delivery had me howling.

Kristian Harloff had an interesting theory on his show earlier today, that The Rock is actually intending to destroy the Bloodline from the inside. That this is all planned by The Rock and Cody. I kind off like that.

That'd be dumb, because it would make it about the Rock.

Rock should stay evil and then fight Roman because he is pissed at him for losing.

If the plan is to have Rock vs Roman later this year and because it would be about The Rock, I would lean to believing that theory. And by the way, for those that don't know, Harloff was briefly a writer for WWE and still follows it.

Rock's going to turn face at some point. There's no way he'll want to stay heel. I'd actually be surprised if he stays heel past WM. I'm still thinking he rock-bottom's Roman to give Cody the win.

This would be pretty awful. Cody should win clean.

Dwayne would definitely like this though, putting himself over without doing the job.

Honestly, even if Rock gave his finisher to Roman, if Cody can hit him with his crappy finisher too and then get a 10-minute confetti celebration, it wouldn't take away from Cody's win.

I’ll be working Raw tonight, worked Smackdown a couple years ago. Looking forward to it even though I don’t follow WWE
There it is, you're finally admitting to working us...

Why does the event go from 4:30-8:30 (PT) but only broadcast from 5-8?
Main Event taping.

I expect there to be a lot of shenanigans outside the ring with Jimmy and Solo and whoever Cody's assembled to take them on. Looked like Sami's got his back.

Well Jimmy and Solo are at Raw. Feels like Jey is gonna get screwed by Jimmy tonight turning the IC Title Match to jumpstart the USO Mania Match story.

I missed Pat's graphics.

Good lord I love Pat. lol
One segment managed to turn my stream chat on his side.
