I've always found Heel Rock to be bland, imo. Last night was no different. If you want a heel Rock, you have to change the presention. Give people a reason to boo him.

He should drop all things Rock. I would like for Dwayne Johnson to become the new "evil Mr. McMahon." (TV character, not the real life scumbag.)

I haven’t watched full time or been invested in almost 2 decades(when 2005 lockout ended). The storyline has definitely got my attention and even brought me back lurking other wrestling boards. One thing I learned is wwe fans still aren’t ever happy no matter what. Dwayne Johnson is fantastic

He won't commit to that because that character requires full time status.

Just rename Bron Breakker, Bron Steiner, for the love of god. One of the worst names in wrestling.
He wants to use that name and considering the baggage that name right now brings, with his fathers comments and Scott being what he is, he's better off using Breakker. To me Bron Breakker sounds phonetically better than Bron Steiner.

Bron Breaker is not a name that headlines just like Dolph Ziggler was doomed forever with his name while his actual name is far better. If they aren't going to or don't want to do Steiner give him a better non jobber name.

I don't see it as a jobber name. He's already got the nickname "best Spear in the business", coupled with the commentary line associated with the move "he Speared him in half!", it's a very fitting name for him now. Breakker, because he "breaks" people in half.

I can't be the only one who noticed that when Rock had his finger up in the air at the end of the episode, that his thumb was also extending outward at a 90 degree angle in the shape of an L, right?

I noticed it but I think his finger might just not bend normally anymore.

By the way, Austin posted this just a few hours ago:

Drew the only one from the RAW roster un the chamber March.

Seems obvivous Drew is gonna win, and he's doing great character work, but Seth just pinned him twice the last month, I dont have any interest in seeing Seth vs Drew

It’s my fear to. I’m hoping Logan Paul wins though.

The Rock today at a Daytona 500 press conference. Make of it what you will.
"I am returning into the ring so I'm going to put the spandex on and I gotta start my diet and I can't wait I think we are creating something that should be I think pretty cool for the fans and pretty entertaining " 16:50 mark

He was also on the pre-show and made a bunch of oldtimers roll over in their grave when after viewing a couple NASCAR fights he said "...I come from a world of violence, scripted violence, in the world of professional wrestling..."

Makes me wonder if he's finally burned out on starring in like 30 movies a year and he's turned to business. He owns the former XFL (is it now UFL or something?) and is now on the board at TKO. Wonder if he's pulling a Jay Z and is focused on that now.

He has over 10 movies in various stages currently so I don't think this is a semi-retirement

I agree that Bron Breakker is a shit name... But I seriously doubt he struggles the same way Ziggler did considering:

1. Bron is slightly "Bigger" and built different, visually. If you go off billed size, they're the same height and Bron is 10 pounds heavier, but Ziggler has a cut "Model" build. Bron has an contact/combat athlete build.

2. Bron's explosiveness makes up for any perceived lack in size. (Which is funny because, by wrestling standards, he's somehow small)

3. WWE was just starting to break out of their "Size-queen" reputation at the point when Ziggler could've been pushed. They begrudgingly went with Punk as a top guy, and only went with Bryan when the company (And a number of talent) forced them to.

4. I think perception plays a role in this... To the casual fan who doesn't know much, Ziggler looks like the pretty-boy model, whereas Bron looks like somebody who could legitimately kick the shit out of you.

5. The dipshit that was holding back multiple talented guys is gone, seemingly for good.

I say all that to make the point that, while Bron's name sucks balls, I don't think it prevents him from becoming a star. That said, for f***s sake, just bring him up as Rex Steiner. Everybody knows who he is and nobody gives a f*** what his Dad said two years ago to the degree that it would hurt him.
